South West Animal Rescue Inc. is a not for profit organisation based in  Bunbury, the south west of Western Australia. We are run entirely by a small, but dedicated group of volunteers.

South West Animal Rescue (SWAR) was established in November 2006 to address the lack of an animal shelter in the Bunbury area.

Our primary goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned domestic animals.

SWAR rely on foster carers to house the animals while we are looking for their "forever home", We are also actively looking at ways to establish an animal shelter at a permanent base in the Bunbury or surrounding area.

SWAR are strong advocates of responsible pet ownership through sterilising to prevent unwanted offspring.

We also believe in potential dog owners, researching and choosing the correct breed of dog to suit their lifestyle.

 

Better Pets and Gardens Christmas Tree

 

Better Pets and Gardens in the Homemaker Centre, Bunbury, are a wonderful supporter of South West Animal Rescue.

When you go into Better Pets and Gardens, you will see a beautiful Christmas Tree with christmas cards attached. Simply take a card, purchase a product from the store and attach the card as you make your donation into the box.

Help us to brighten the lives of abandoned domestic animals this Christmas by supporting South West Animal Rescue at the Better Pets and Gardens Christmas Tree appeal.

South West Animal Rescue now have our 2009 calenders ready for purchase. Featuring rescued animals from Bunbury and the South West they are only $5.00 with all funds raised going directly to the rescue, rehabilation and rehoming of abandoned domestic animals.
